Ian and I braved the cold and headed down to the tracks in front of my workplace to get some shots of Halifax, the harbour, and the oil rig that is in port.

Governor’s Lake was frozen over for the first time today. Click here for a larger version of this panorama that does it a bit more justice.

I ran down to the tracks in front of work this morning to grab a few shots as the sun was rising and lighting up the windows of downtown Halifax.

I never tire of the view and I always take a moment to appreciate it each morning. I’m sure there’ll be more from this spot to come!

There were so many things to take photos of in Toronto’s Chinatown. I started shooting some of the vendors and their wares, as well as customers browsing and buying.

I took several of a few lovely older ladies selling some produce and such. When I went back through them, I noticed this shot of one of the ladies giving me a sneaky look! Or maybe she thought I was being sneaky taking a picture of her haha.

I shot Justine and Jamie’s wedding down Yarmouth way in early July (more shots here), and this was one of my favourite photos from the day. We headed out to Cape Forchu just before sunset and grabbed some shots on the rocks by the lighthouse.

There’s not much left of Queen Elizabeth High. I finally got down to the demolition site to grab a few pictures. This is the side facing the Halifax Commons.

The super moon! I snapped lots of photos of this event over two nights.

I will be posting a more close-up shot later, but I love the look of the clouds and sky in this one.

I stumbled on this metal works shop while exploring a bit of Dartmouth, beside Alderney Landing.

The whole property was a gold mine for grungy-looking stuff.

If you look closely, you can see “Wash Me” rubbed into the dirt on the garage door.

A year ago today we spent a night at Stonehame Chalets in Scotsburn, NS. We had a gorgeous log cabin with a fireplace, and it was really nice to get away from it all.

This was the view the following morning – the sun rising over Pictou.

This incredible structure is along the Dartmouth waterfront, just past Alderney Landing, and inside Ferry Terminal Park.
