There’s not much left of Queen Elizabeth High. I finally got down to the demolition site to grab a few pictures. This is the side facing the Halifax Commons.

This incredible structure is along the Dartmouth waterfront, just past Alderney Landing, and inside Ferry Terminal Park.

Ian and I were trying to get some decent shots of the bridge from Seaview Park. As the sun was setting, I turned around and noticed a couple sitting on a bench watching the sun set over Bedford Basin.

This is the hull of a Navy ship, in port for the Navy’s centennial last summer. There were so many great ships docked along Halifax Harbour. You can see the HMCS Athabasca on the right, the subject of one of my previous photos on the blog.

I spotted this rock along the Halifax waterfront during a lovely walk one night last summer. Someone had taken great care to draw a little sailboat on it. There is also a rather cute smiley face on the right. This is a quick iPhone snap with Camera+.

Another quick shot from the passenger seat. This is a tower along the end of the 102 inbound coming into Halifax.

It’s Fleet Week in Halifax, and the HMCS Athabasca is one of the enormous Navy ships docked along the waterfront.
